Grade/Salary: £19,821 for 30 hours (£24,446 FTE)

Pension: Workplace pension

Working hours: 30 hours per week

Work location: North Devon & Torridge

Job Summary:

NDADA are seeking an Empowerment Practitioner to join our team. The postholder will work with both women accessing our support in the community and women who live in supported accommodation within the “Brave Spaces” partnership – collaboration of Encompass, NDADA, Colab, SAND and Mind.

The Empowerment Practitioner will offer focused support to those who have experienced domestic abuse, using a trauma-informed, person-centered approach.

Torridge Domestic Abuse Housing Triage/Outreach Practitioner

Job title: Domestic Abuse Housing Triage/Outreach Practitioner (Torridge)

Responsible to: Team Lead

Contract: Fixed term to 31^st March 2025 (potential to extend)

Grade/Salary: £19,821 for 30 hours (£24,446 FTE)

Working hours: 30 hours per week

Work location: Barnstaple/Torridge/Hybrid Remote (Office in Barnstaple – travel expenses from Barnstaple covered)

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)

NDADA are seeking a A Domestic Abuse Housing Triage/Outreach Practitioner to work with clients in the Torridge area who are at risk of homelessness due to domestic abuse. The successful candidate will be organised, self-motivated, good admin skills and be knowledgeable about housing and benefits entitlement. The postholder will also offer some outreach to clients in the Torridge area along side the “Brave Spaces” partnership – collaboration of Encompass, NDADA, Colab, SAND and Mind.
