Get involved

NDADA relies on the goodwill of the community to get involved by generously donating items, time and funds to help us work with those affected by domestic abuse

You can get involved by becoming a volunteer for NDADA and donating to our cause.

Depending on current need we are often glad to receive donations of good quality, clean children’s clothes, school uniforms, toys and books for children of all ages staying in the refuge. You can also donate packs of toiletries, sanitary items, and new underwear and nightwear for women and children – these are always needed as often families arrive having fled their homes in crisis. Food parcels of non-perishables are also gratefully received.

If you belong to an organisation within our community which fundraises throughout the year, would you consider putting some of those funds our way or holding an event for us? We are happy to provide speakers and volunteer helpers.

Donate any amount you want, whether £1 or £20.
