There are a number of ways you can volunteer to assist NDADA in helping those affected by domestic abuse across Devon
A lot of our clients need TLC as an ongoing part of their recovery, especially where parenting and rebuilding relationships are concerned. They need the support of a committed, non-judgemental friend in the way of a volunteer to achieve a life of their choosing, free from abuse.
We are also always in need of volunteers to help us with various administrative duties, fundraising, marketing and promotions. If you’re a great communicator you could be going out giving talks about our work and actively creating opportunities for these.
We always welcome those with facilitation skills to volunteer alongside our recovery courses.
There are various roles helping children and young people in our refuge and in the community. We run educational programmes in schools when funding permits and this is a great opportunity for volunteers to help promote healthy relationships to the young people in our area.
If you would like to apply to be a volunteer, please email: admin@ndada.co.uk or write to NDADA, PO Box 141, Barnstaple, North Devon, EX32 7YN
